​Mohamed Naeim

Mohamed Naeim from Sudan has considerable experience in the non-profit sector gained in South Africa, the Philippines, Malaysia and the Republic of Sudan. His passion is to find sustainable solutions for poverty alleviation and developing Africans through human development.

As a Project Development Officer at the AU Foundation, he co-manages a continental project aimed at eliminating the use of the handheld hoe by women farmers.

He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from Cardiff Metropolitan University and a Master’s degree in International Development Management from the University of Nottingham, Malaysia.

While volunteering for the Department of Social Welfare and Development in the Philippines, he assisted in operations and developed projects that support indigent beneficiaries of the national Conditional Cash Transfer program (Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program).

During his tenure at the Embassy of the Republic of Sudan in Kuala Lumpur he performed various consular and diplomatic tasks. He also worked as a program officer in Eqraa Forum (in Sudan) organising dialogues between youth, academics, and policy makers on national issues.
