Driving the transformation agenda

The 21st Ordinary Assembly of Heads of States and Government in May 2013, approved the establishment of the African Union Foundation to accommodate the private sector; individuals and any other donations and voluntary contributions towards the financing of African development priorities.

What We Do

"If I had to define the work of the African Union Foundation, I would define it as the process of building an inclusive development agenda towards the “Africa we want”- a continent where all women are empowered; where young people can easily access opportunities and where development is funded from within the continent.

I ïnvite you to join us in this quest to build a better Africa and make a contribution to  achieve this ambitious common goal towards the Africa we want as envisioned in Agenda 2063 ."
